Back to reality.

I can't believe that I am back home already. 10 days of vacation is just too short. Not to mention that I didn't get to do a lot of things I planned on doing in the States. I didn't see many of my friends, didn't even get to talk to them. I didn't get to buy a lot of things, basically nothing. I didn't get to have a lot of the food I wanted to have, only clam chowder. On the other hand, I have accomplished a lot this time. I've always wanted to see the Statue of Liberty, and I did get to see it this time... I surprise visited Adele at work, even surprised myself. I didn't expect to see her at all! I got to see a couple of my friends, and got to talk to a couple of them. I did get the lotion I like from Bath and Body Works too!

In conclusion, I think I've enjoyed, kinda, this vacation. There are a lot of other stories of this trip that I need to document, but I will save that for another time.

This is from a Fortune Cookie from a Chinese Restaurant we went to in Washington D. C.
~~ Pray for what you want, but work for the things you need.

Kinda reminds me of one of my favorite quotations:
Dream dreams and write them aye,
but live them first. (Samuel Eliot Morrison)

Just a thought ;-)
