Patchwork!

I started class on Wed (Nov 2nd). First class was a little frustrating since I never worked with fabric before. I had to draw lines on the back so I can cut the blocks out... I kept on drawing the wrong lines... After 1 and a half hours of hard work, I finally got all of the blocks drawn and cut out.

One good thing was I wasn't too bad with needles, so it wasn't too bad. I started to put 2 blocks together, and eventually 4 blocks together.

Thursday was way too busy to even get anything done. But I managed to get most of my blocks into strips of 4 blocks.

Friday morning, I had a ton of work to do, but I still went to class. I didn't want to sit at home during the weekend thinking that I should have gone to class. Then I ended up learning how to put the strips together...

Getting home after work at 10PM Friday night, I was exhausted... but I couldn't help it, I had to finish it... I stayed up late and got one top piece done.
I am really glad that I took the chance and walked into the store... I don't think I am ever gonna give up on knitting and crocheting, but why not adding another item to my addictions?
