Music of my heart

Yeasterday I was listening to a CD I had for ages. It was a compilation CD with so many songs that are linked to many memories of mine. Wang Lee-Hom's song "You are my one and only" was on and all of a sudden, I felt really emotional. Tears were on the edge of coming out. Memories started popping up, things that I relate to the song, things that happened... etc.. Even images of places and people were floating in my head. I always feel so emtional to certain songs. Laney said that she feels the same way, certain songs remind her of certain things, but not to the point where she would see images. Should I be worried that this is happening to me? Is it just because I miss my old life style too much?

Whenever I hear No Scrub by TLC, I would see Biki dancing to the music on her bed when we were freshmans. If I hear Boom boom boom boom, I would picture the bus ride on our Senior Trip to Aqaba. Song of Savage Garden reminds me of the summer I stayed in Boston working and taking classes. I can even picture the green of the leaves on Bay State Road, the way the river flows.

Maybe it's time to move on.
